Argentina's midfielder Juan Roman Riquelme is no more going to play for his national side after having some disagreements with the team coach, Maradona.
Disagreements included:
- He was not selected for the squad that played the friendly against France on 11/02/09 as Maradona wanted him to rest for the game with his club (Boca Juniors) at the end of the same week.
- Maradona asked him to play in a different position.
