Podolski, Friedrich and Jansen are back to the German squad

German coach, Joachim Loew, has named his squad that will face both Liechtenstein and Wales in the World Cup 2010 qualification round on 28/03/09 and 01/04/09.

The squad included the return of Podolski, Friedrich and Jansen that missed the friendly in which Germany was defeated 1-0 against Norway last month because of injury.

On the other side, striker Miroslav Klose is going to be out for 6 weeks due to an ankle injury in Bayern Munich's last game in the German league against Bochum in which Bayern won 3-0.
